Libraries for Research Data IGBrief introduction describing the activities and scope of the group
The working group has developed a list of common attributes that describe research data repositories with a definition for each attribute, provided a rationale for its value and use, assessed the feasibility of its implementation, and undertaken a gap analysis of the current availability of these attributes in repositories. We produced a selection of examples of different approaches currently being taken by repositories to express and expose these attributes to users and user-agents, and we are looking forward to the opportunity for our final working group meeting to focus on adoption and implementation.Estimate of the required room capacity

This will be the final working meeting for the Data Repository Attributes Working Group as we complete our 18-month project. In this session, we will present the final draft of our recommendation – Common Descriptive Attributes of Research Data Repositories – supported by examples of the attributes implemented in a selection of data repositories. We will engage participants in breakout discussion groups to explore the feasibility and implementation of the attributes by different stakeholders. The session will conclude with brainstorming related to promotion, adoption, and future work that may need to happen after the working group has concluded. Please indicate at least (3) three breakout slots that would suit your meeting.
