This is a working area dedicated to the RDA activities, news and events in Germany and German speaking regions. 

This working area aims at connecting researchers working with research data on a more local level and facilitates interconnecting local activities with broader RDA activities through e.g. RDA Working and Interest Groups.

In Deutschland wird RDA u.a. von der MPCDF (Max Planck Computing and Data Facility) als Koordinator des RDA Europe Projekts (Ansprechpartner: Kathrin Beck und Peter Wittenburg), wie auch vom Helmholtz Open Science (OS) Koordinationsbüro unterstützt.

Seit 2014 co-organisiert das Helmholtz OS Koordinationsbüro die Veranstaltungsreihe “RDA Deutschland” für den deutschsprachigen Raum.

Das Helmholtz OS Koordinationsbüro (co-)administriert des weiteren  das deutschsprachige Forschungsdaten-Wiki. Die dazugehörige DFN-Mailingliste Forschungsdaten ist für den Austausch von Neuigkeiten und Veranstaltungen zu Forschungsdaten gedacht.

Im September 2017 wurde formal der RDA Deutschland e.V. gegründet. Die erste allgemeine Mitgliederversammlung mit der Wahl eines Vorstands findet am 19. März 2018 in Berlin, während des RDA Plenary statt. Für weitere Informationen zum Verein und zur Vereinsmitgliedschaft siehe die Vereinswebseite.

RDA sucht Wissenschaftler, Forschungscommunities und Akteure aus der Privatwirtschaft, die gerne RDA-Ergebnisse und -Empfehlungen testen und anwenden würden. RDA berät sie gerne bei der Umsetzung. Bei Interesse wenden Sie sich bitte an die oben genannten Kontaktpersonen.

In addition to the content of the global RDA website, the German speaking Forschungsdaten wiki is collecting information on research data, as well as on the activities of RDA Germany. It is accompanied by the DFN Forschungsdaten mailing list; both are (co-)administrated by Helmholtz OS.

In September 2017 the RDA Deutschland e.V. was formally established. The first RDA Germany Foundation Meeting with the election of the board takes place on 19 March 2018 in Berlin, during the RDA Plenary. RDA is continuously looking for researchers, research communities and private sector actors, who are interested in testing and adopting RDA outputs and recommendations, and are happy to give advice in different stages of this process.
