Good point. Maybe time to revisit the definition/scope of the IG.

    Ah, now I see!
From the perspective of geochemistry and samples, Earth and environmental data and samples have very similar structures and provenance metadata as planetary samples and data. As I am diving deeper into astromaterials, the need for closer alignment, coordination, and integration is apparent. But maybe it is more a OneGeochemistry issue?

Somehow the “Space” in the name of the IG has gotten a bit lost. I would
like to put it back in there as there is a lot of activity going on in
that data ecosystem as well. Maybe there can be some more engagement of
the Planetary Data Ecosystem in the IG.

    Hi Lesley,
Would be great to present about the developments in the planetary samples world and the connection to OneGeochemistry and IGSN

Welcome, Pedro! And really: big, big thanks to Erin. We’ll miss you.

Thanks, Ted. Great take-aways. And great insights for our way forward.

It now says “Please wait for the host to start the meeting”

    Hi Lynn,
It seems unlikely that I will be able to attend. I have two important
proposals due that are critical for the future of my group and need to
focus on those. Plus a huge backlog after spending much needed time with
    family in Germany.
I will try to call in for parts of the meeting.

    Dear Donald,
The Geoinformatics Research Group at Lamont has developed a new IEDA
Data Management Planning Tool for which we had funding from NSF  over
the past two years. The to serve all NSF Directorates. The IEDA DMP Tool
is a structured approach to DMPs. We started the development by
analyzing the anonymized data from >1,200 DMPs that had already been
generated via the IEDA DMP Tool. If you are interested I will put you in
touch with the person who has the data.
    Best wishes,
    Kerstin

I have the same issue. I move to the hotel in Gaithersburg tomorrow
because I have to be at the ESIP business meeting, and will be at the
NIST shuttle with all my luggage. Need to come back to ESIP on Thursday
    morning for the CDF meeting.
Rebecca, maybe we should share a cab? Steve Diggs has a car and will
drive tomorrow after the morning session.

    Hi Anita,
Looks like fantastic outcomes of work so far.
I would be really interested in the topic of granularity. As you know my goal is to get down to the level of sampling features, specifically samples, in searches.
Let me know how to engage.
