    Hi Don
Thanks for the invite. We’d hoped to actually come to this meeting, we’d
    definitely like to present.
    Many thanks,

    Hi David
Uh, I don’t actually know but I’d be very surprised if not. The
discussion time will be a little hard for remote but I’m particularly
excited to have more people hear about the Australian Scalable Drone Cloud
project – I think we can learn from their exploration of that space (and am
sure they’d be ok with friendly input).
Either way – if there are remote links as soon as I know them I’ll share
here, and there will definitely be remote links for the RDA session later
in that week too so I’ll send those out too!
And a heads up for anyone thinking about ESIP summer already: there will
be a drone data workshop including both training in using Drone Data Buddy
and an emerging practical guide for drone data-package metadata…. But
    RDA first ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Ted
I missed that, great. Ja definitely, I’m at AGU all week, would be really
great to catch up on this. Find you at ESIP booth some time?

    Hi PIDST
I’m not sure if this would be easier if I join your call or just ask here
via email so feel free to tell me to just join the call if easier.
I’ve lost touch with your outputs but see you’re concluding. Linked to the
drone data group I have a project that is building software for creating
Drone metadata in RDF graphs. For now we’re just sticking in blank nodes
for sensor UIDs, but if there’s something we should be looking to adopt
from this group even if it’s just as a prototype that would be great.

    Hi all
Apparently I got the day wrong for the Drone Cluster call (you’d think a
chair would know better:) but so if anyone wants to chat about the
concept/plans I’ll be on this link
    at 4pm EST tomorrow.
Moving beyond tomorrow, as promised. Agendas to be announced but for
anyone planning on coming to the drone data hackathon, it would be
incredibly valuable to have you join us on the pre-event telecons. Call
details and agenda are and will be in that git repo README

P.S Andrew’s blog reminded me we better make sure/link to – people know the
gform results are visible to all – so people can see suggested topics as
    they come in!

    Hi Sara
Thanks so much, I’ve attached a couple things here that hopefully you can
pull together into a better piece ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve also cc’d in the planning team
    who could pitch in ideas.
    1. Andrew’s written a RDA blog

on a unconference he attended recently which I think is great way of
introducing the concept to RDA community
    2. There’s an RDA event page on everything here
    . Sara I don’t
know if you have the power to do this but it would be great to improve this
page too, I really wanted to add some images but I don’t have the access
    power
    3. We’d like to have a google form distributed for people to use to
informally sign up for the event (for catering purposes) and to start
gathering topic ideas. The form’s currently here
    ,
Sara if you have any suggestions on edits to this please just say, we
haven’t made it live yet but obviously will do so before newsletter goes
out so it can be linked to, and will add it to the RDA event page
    4. I have 2 graphics that might be of use either here or in the news
letter – see attached. Image2 should really be a clickable link to here

Then lastly I don’t know who has control over this so I’m just asking
whoever I can – we really need to get the event page
    linked onto the
    main program page
@Unconf planning team: Once we have all of the above up and the news letter
goes out we can all tweet etc about it, and we should probably try meet up
again to talk logistics planning. I’m traveling next week so here’s a
    doodle for the following week
(sorry Devika – it’s more amenable to Aus and CET this time:/).

    Hi all
Thanks to everyone who’s already responded to this, if you haven’t had a
chance this really is pretty quick. Again we asking anyone using drones
for data capture to complete this short survey

to community-check our efforts to model the information pipeline involved
in scientific drone data capture. With the ultimate end goal being readily
usable tools for capturing semantically enriched drone data as a component
    of making drone data FAIR.
    Survey link is here
    ,
we’re able to leave it open till the 15 August (next Wednesday so 1 more
    week).
    Thanks again,
    Jane

I’ll be there and interested to attend any session this group organises.
I’m an engineer so very much an observer (researcher in need of outputs ๐Ÿ™‚
in this group, but just cause their San code of research ethics

made a splash last year and that’s particularly relevant to Southern Africa
    – I’m wondering if the EU trust project is
represented in RDA? Could use this session to make connections
particularly with their African projects if not?
And then with drone hat on again: this group is obviously doing many things
far beyond just drones but we’re working on a number of external efforts
that should attract drone researchers to IDW as a whole so if of any
relevance this is the ‘data ethics guideline’ werobotics uses. I’m still
hoping to have 1 of their Tanzanian staff join us for all events.

The RDA/US has student fellowships and I remember seeing EU student support
offered for P9. I don’t see all the RDA/EU announcements but are those not
available anymore? Might cover at least a few meetings
