The FORCE11 Software Citation Implementation WG (SCIWG) is holding a hackathon before and after the main FORCE2021 events.  The main theme for hacking/discussing/doing is software citation and metadata exports. More information is available online.

FORCE2021 is convened by FORCE11, an organizing community of volunteers and in collaboration with multiple community-led and advocacy groups and organizations working towards the future of scholarly communications.
As you can see from the program, the theme this year is “Joining Forces”. FORCE11 couldn’t have done this without the support of our community member volunteers and fellow community organizations like ICSTI, EIFL, ASAPbio, Global Youth Academy, SAGE bionetworks, COAR, Software Sustainability Institute, AGU, IFMSA, Open Knowledge Maps, DOAJ, and more!
