    Dear RDARIans,
We met as planned on Monday morning and brainstormed some ideas for an RDARI IG proposal for the forthcoming 19th RDA plenary in Seoul/at home.
We will be proposing a session with the tentative title of
‘Bringing Together Data Management and Computation – Social and Architectural Challenges’
We hope that this appeals to a wide range of our existing RDARI community and beyond.
If you would be interested in sharing your experiences of integrating institutional super-computing facilities with research data management services and workflows, the RDARI co-chairs would be delighted to hear from you. Do please send your suggestions to me, Keith, and Rory (cc’d)
You can find our group session proposal here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11UfgpPVmsFi0vVjEaekCITkyHuv17moOdvyT
Feel free to add comments and ideas.
We will need to submit the session proposal TOMORROW, but it should be fine to select speakers and presentations beyond this date – so no need to panic.
    Yours,
    James

Whether or not you will be able to join us for the Monday meeting (and I appreciate that finding a time slot that is viable for everyone is impossible), please feel free to share ideas and suggestions for the next RDARI IG session in this collaborative Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11UfgpPVmsFi0vVjEaekCITkyHuv17moOdvyT
I’ve added an ‘Ideas and Suggestions’ heading at the bottom of the template. Throw things down. Brainstorm. Develop the suggestions of others. Suggest speakers, or volunteer yourself. We will have another meeting or two before the Plenary itself, but it would be good to be able to submit a proposal of broad interest before the end of next week.

    Dear RDARIans,
Although June still seems like a long way away, the deadlines for session submission to the 19th Plenary meeting of the RDA is on the 26th February. We should meet to discuss our proposals. I have put together a Doodle Poll to find the best time:

Please complete this ASAP so we can get something in our diaries.
