The RDA Secretariat aims to promote the uptake of RDA Recommendations and Outputs across all regions. In this context, the RDA Secretariat is working on a series of webinars that aim to train stakeholders for adoption. The webinars will highlight outputs of RDA Interest and Working Groups, and demonstrate the added value of RDA.
RDA Outputs to Support Reproducible Health Research
This very first edition focuses on the RDA outputs in Data Collection, Data Citation and Reproducible Health Data Services to support reproducible Health Research. The webinar aims to highlight RDA outputs from the chairs and adopters point of view and facilitates discussion between the WG chairs, RDA adopters and webinar participants. The speakers are:Anthony Juehne, member of the Global RDA Adoption team, will give an overview of the outreach and training work that the recently formed team is setting up with the aim to promote the uptake of RDA output globally.
Oya Beyan (RWTH Aachen University) will explain which challenge the recently formed Reproducible Health Data Working Group will be addressing in the coming 18 months.
Mark Musen will tell the adoption story of Stanford BMIR and Center for Expanded Data Annotation and Retrieval (CEDAR).
Leslie McIntosh will tell the story of Washington University School of Medicine adopting the RDA Dynamic Data Citation WG recommendation

RDA Working Groups Solutions To DMP
This second webinar focused on RDA groups and outputs related to Data Management Plans. We aimed to highlight ongoing work in RDA from the perspectives of RDA Interest and Working Group chairs, facilitating discussion between the chairs and potential adopters of RDA Recommendations and Outputs.

Kathryn Unsworth (CSIRO) introduced the RDA Exposing Data Management Plans Working Group, including an update on current and ongoing work. (slides)
Tomasz Miksa (SBA Research) and Peter Neish (University of Melbourne) introduced the RDA DMP Common Standards Working Group, focusing on the standard for machine-actionable Data Management Plans (maDMP) released in April 2019. (slides)Explanation of the maDMP standard included:
