We would like to let you know about an event on FAIR data in the Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) sector that DRI and RDA are running with the support of Europeana Research.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 29 September, 15:00 -16:00 IST (16:00 – 17:00 CEST) and will feature a series of case studies highlighting the benefits of using and publishing FAIR and open data for the GLAM sectors.
The participants will have the chance to learn about foundational aspects of FAIR data and to gather insights from practical use cases from the sector. A Q&A slot is scheduled for the end of the meeting welcoming questions from the audience.
Dr. Sandra Collins, Director of the National Library of Ireland, will provide the introductory remarks and case studies on using FAIR data will be provided field archaeologist Jennifer McCarthy, Dr. Garfield Benjamin from Solent University, and Dr. Lorna Hughes from the University of Glasgow.
