    An Open Science Graph (OSG) is an information space describing through metadata one or more entities and actors involved in science and knowledge production (projects, publications, data, software, services, researchers, organizations, facilities, etc.).
    The work of the IG focuses on open challenges in Open Science Graphs for FAIR DataThe objective of the session has twofold objective of:

    Introducing the challenges of Open Science Graphs (OSGs) for FAIR Data IG and presenting a list of RDA WGs that may spring out of it, and

    Bootstrapping the discussion about one specific Working Group on “data models and exchange protocols for Open Science Graphs interoperability”.

    For the second part, a group of invited speakers will illustrate their work on known OSGs (ResearchGraph, FREYA PID Graph, Open Knowledge Research Graph, OpenAIRE Research Graph) with specific reference to:

    Data model: the specific OSG’s research-related entities, management and types of PIDs;

    Exchange protocols: the specific APIs and data exchange formats adopted to share and expose the OSG content.

    Such presentations will be followed by the presentation of some preliminary work in the direction of finding convergence on such approaches. The discussion will then be opened to the attendees in order to:

    Identify broad agreements and disagreements on the WG topics, to build a strong starting point;

    Establish a roadmap of work and potential submission of a dedicated RDA WG on the topic.
