1. Report – update for Council (slide deck)
2. Discussion paper – contains an issue and context for a council decision
3. Decision paper – summary of decision that requires Yes / No
Decision on MSP – go ahead and continue this AND to discuss & give feedback on whether we should pursue other SDO bodies and based on what mechanism?
ACTION 2016-10-07/7 – Juan: to revise document based on feedback and include
1. MSP important & further recommendations to be put through process
2. Encourage any group to put its outputs through SDO process themselves they wish but not formally followed by RDA
re-circulate before submission to council for endorsement by 14 October 2016.
ACTION 2016-10-07/8 – All to provide feedback within 1 week (21 October 2016)

For the benefit of Mark, Fran & Kay who could not join us, please note that there are a couple of actions for ALL – to read revised versions of papers etc. so please check the action list below and if anything is unclear just let me or any of subcommittee members know and we will clarify.

ACTION 2016-10-07/3 – All Strategy subcommittee members to read it once again to ensure that the content is acceptable to all. Silence reluctantly accepted. Deadline Friday 14th October 2016
ACTION 2016-10-07/4 – Mark to send to paper to Simon Hodson for his feedback – Deadline for feedback from Simon (with Francoise in cc) 18th October 2016.
ACTION 2016-10-07/5 –Francoise to circulate version for publication once feedback from subcommittee and Simon is received so after 18th October 2016.
ACTION 2016-10-07/6 – Hilary: create as a subcommittee product, disseminate and request for comments as soon as it is received in its final version for publication.
4. RDA as a Standardisation Body paper by Juan

What is council expected to do with this document? We have three options …
1. Report – update for Council (slide deck)
2. Discussion paper – contains an issue and context for a council decision
3. Decision paper – summary of decision that requires Yes / No
Decision on MSP – go ahead and continue this AND to discuss & give feedback on whether we should pursue other SDO bodies and based on what mechanism?
ACTION 2016-10-07/7 – Juan: to revise document based on feedback and include
1. MSP important & further recommendations to be put through process
2. Encourage any group to put its outputs through SDO process themselves they wish but not formally followed by RDA
re-circulate before submission to council for endorsement by 14 October 2016.
ACTION 2016-10-07/8 – All to provide feedback within 1 week (21 October 2016)
ACTION 2016-10-07/9 – Juan to circulate to council by 30 October 2016.
5. What papers will be developed next and by whom?
• Strategic Alliances document by Bernard will be circulated – ACTION 2016-10-07/10
• Other round of documents / papers to be discussed and brainstormed by all at next call
6. Next call – when?

The public pages with Request for Comments functionality are ready & waiting for the 2 papers. I am waiting for feedback from Mark on Simon’s eventual comments so we can publish the Certification one.
@Juan, we are waiting for your revised / integrated version to somment and then publish once all agreed

Reviewing the action plan I note that Francoise’s paper is now approved as is (unless anyone sent any negative feedback that I did not see), and if Mark could send to Simon Hodson that would be great! Thank you Francoise for your work on this paper which is an excellent discussion piece I think.
Juan, we await the revised version of your standardisation paper, including the feedback received during the telco, then we should all review again by email – looking forward to it.
