Hi to members of the AIDV,
The below opportunity to improve open science policies in Journals may be of interest to grou pmembers. Want to learn more about TOPC Guidelines ? Think about AI and replicaiton research?
Center for Open Science writes that:
We are looking for help in our campaign to improve open science policies in
journals. The TOP Guidelines (https://cos.io/top) provides specific
recommendations for journal policies around data sharing, replication
research, and preregistration, and TOP Factor (https://topfactor.org) is an
evaluation of a journal’s policies using those guidelines.
TOP Factor currently includes policies of over 3,000 journals, and we want
to keep it growing. Join us for an hour long training session, after which
you will be quizzed on your ability to score journal policies. Those that
pass the quiz will then have the opportunity to attend a TOP Factor Scoring
Hackathon on January 25, 2024.
