Dear all,
We are pleased to announce that Cynthia (Cyndy) Parr is the new co-chair of IGAD.
Dr. Parr is Technical Information Specialist at the USDA ARS National Agricultural Library (NAL), Beltsville, MD. She serves as a strategist, policy advisor, program manager, and researcher in open data, open science, and data science. Dr. Parr received a BS in biology from Cornell University and an MS and PhD from University of Michigan. She takes a user-centered approach to meeting the research data needs of agriculture and biodiversity researchers, decision-makers, and the broader public.
Cyndy has already played an amazing and key role in the preparation and delivery of P13 IGAD activities.
We are now preparing the activities for P14. We will keep you posted, but if any of you wants to play an active role, please let us know!
