Dear Rainer, Larry and all,
Eefke Smit, Co-chair of the RDA-WDS Publishing Data IG, sent the email
below to you regarding the Karlsruhe on 11 and 12 June. For some technical
reason the TO field was completely messed up and you never received it and
she never received a reply. She was not able to register for the event
because she is not subscribed (done now) to the group page on the RDA page
and did not receive any of the recent communications and reminders.
After our discussion in San Diego, I made every efforts to encourage the WG
Chairs to attend this meeting. Eefke has agreed to attend and made the
necessary plans. As Co-chair of the umbrella RDA-WDS Publishing Data IG,
her participation is critical to provide an overview of the various
activities of the 3 WGs (Services, Bibliometrics, Workflows) and the Cost
Recovery IG.
Therefore, I would like to suggest that Eefke and Sarah present the item
‘RDA/WDS Publishing Groups’ on June 11. However, please note that Eefke
will arrive at the meeting at 15:00 and this means the agenda item has to
be moved the item forward if possible
I will personally not be able to join the meeting unless travel support is
available.
