    Happy to inform you that sadivayal village became first tribal certified village in Coimbatore District..Amrita SeRVe started organic farming in May 2016 and registered farmers club under cooperative society and in 2018 we applied for organic certificate under department of organic certificate, Tamilnadu Agricultre University..Mrs. Priyadarshini ,Asst Director, Mr. Eapen, Quality Manager, Department of Organic Certification, TNAU who Guided our farmers to get certificate.
    Since 2018, Amrita SeRVe has been working with the Tamil Nadu Organic Certification Department, the government office, which applies the standards set by the National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP). For this purpose, the farmers needed to apply for land deeds and the soil was examined by officers several times over the last two years.
