We are seeking to appoint a Project Manager, to join the WorldWide Antimalarial Resistance Network. This is a major, established global research programme that sits within the Infectious Diseases Data Observatory (IDDO). Based within the Programme Management team, you will also contribute to wider initiatives across the organisation to promote IDDO’s vision and mission.
You will be responsible for project managing current or planned WWARN activities across IDDO teams (Science, Data Engineering and Informatics, Communications, and Operations) and international collaborators. You will develop and monitor project budgets, project timelines and scope of deliverables; ensure risks to the same are identified and corrective action taken, and you will support the writing and editing of key documents including publications, protocols, ethics applications, and project summaries and briefs. You will also develop plans to engage relevant communities in the design and use of the WWARN platform, with a focus on the scientific/academic community including, but not limited to: design and development of website content; generation of campaigns; and presenting at workshops or conferences.
It is essential that you hold a graduate degree in a relevant scientific or health related discipline, and have experience in the end-to-end life-cycle of grants management. You will have proven project management skills, including the ability to keep accurate tracking records using project management tools; ability to drive engagement with and execution of projects through project partners. It is essential that you have knowledge or previous experience with sharing and/or management of clinical research data, and experience in impact-driven communication.
