Subject: [e-IRG Update] Remote participation to e e-IRG Workshop under Swedish EU Presidency (21.-22.06.2023) now possible
Dear Reader,
at the request of many stakeholders, we have tried to enable remote participation in the upcoming e-IRG workshop (21.-22.06). And now we can announce that we are very grateful to Nordunet for making it possible at short notice to participate via Zoom.
We have adapted the registration
https://events.geant.org/event/1450/registrations/1204/
so that you are now able to register also for remote participation.
The topics of this e-IRG Workshop organised tin the framework of the Swedish EU Presidency are
21.06. 8:00 – 12:00 CEST 20 years anniversary of e-IRG
22.06. 8:00 – 10:30 CEST Authentication and Authorisation Infrastructures coordination in the ERA and beyond
11:00 – 13:00 CEST Cybersecurity and critical infrastructures
14:00 – 16:00 CEST Coordination among generic and thematic infrastructures in the new ERA
The 20 years anniversary of e-IRG session will be used to reflect on the past but also try to look into the future of the European e-Infrastructure landscape, the challenges ahead, especially in terms of policy making, governance and sustaianability.
Then we have two more technical sessions on the coordination of the existing Authentication and Authorisation Infrastructures and about Cybersecurity and critical infrastructures, the impact of directives like NIS-2 on e-Infrastructures.
And in the final session we drive the topic of coordination further. The e-IRG White Paper 2022 addressed the topic of coordination between e-Infrastructures and now the topic is extended to the research infrastructures domain.
All the best,
Jan
