IGAD/RDA Pre-conference meeting is approaching. Would you please tell us who is going to be in Berlin and would like to join the group discussion on the March 20th? We would like to have a discussion and get your feedback on the final version of the Responsible Use of indicators in Agricultural Science. We’ll share the latest version with you all the week before the meeting. Obviously even if you can’t participate, we are more than happy to receive your feedback electronically but it would be great to meet in person. Please let us know about your participation in IGAD/RDA Pre-conference meeting and the discussion group on the second day.

Dear Ilkay,
Not sure whether you have seen the reply from Hugo to Karna and Imma, but we both are joining the IGAD/RDA Pre-conference in Berlin. I was planning to add some ideas to the draft paper. Last year I was also involved in a working group from LIBER about metrics in libraries and in that paper we also followed the Leiden principles. I’ll try to send a copy around.

Hi Ellen
Thanks for your email. Yes, I saw Hugo’s reply to Imma and I confirmed today to Karna that you, Hugo and I will be there for the discussion as well. We still need to know who else is gonna be there from the group so that we can book a room for the discussion on the second day. And, please do contribute to the draft, that would be great. Copy of your work from the Liber group would also give us a insight for the paper. Thanks in advance.

Dear all,
Unfortunately I was not able to prepare the bibliometrics text (I underestimated the time I thought I would have) yet but …. I have prepared a presentation of the study I did to feed into the discussion of the topic.
It is a result of the discussion we had last time and the follow-up I had with Ismael. Hugo provided me with some information for the interpretation in one result.
Find attached the presentation in PDF. My plan is to guide you through the approach and results in the skype this next Friday.
I think there is sufficient material for discussion so I was planning to go to Berlin as well if you think that would make sense.
