To the members of the CODATA-RDA Interest Group on Legal Interoperability, Greetings;
Please see below the query from Malcolm Wolski with which you may, given your knowledge of legal research, be able to help. Please note of course that the query is about legal research as such, rather than the legal dimensions of research.
Something that does occur to me are the efforts to make legal source materials openly available: http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2015/10/free-the-law-will-provide-…
A lot of legally and criminologically related research will face issues of personal sensitive data (see Mary Bosworth abstract here, though I don’t think the presentation is available yet http://www.ses.ac.uk/event/research-crosses-borders/) so involving https://ada.edu.au/social-science/home would be a good idea (and I see they have a crime and justice section https://ada.edu.au/crime-and-justice/home).
Best wishes,
Simon.
