    Dear IG ETHRD Members and All,
    This is to announce that the EDISON Data Science Framework (EDSF)
    Release 3 is published on the current community supported EDISON
    Initiative github location
    https://github.com/EDISONcommunity/EDSF
    The EDSF Release 3 incorporated updates discussed and suggested by the
    EDSF Release 3 Design workshop that took place on 18-19 July 2018 at the
    University of Amsterdam, also comments received after publishing
    pre-release documents and feedback received from team implementing EDSF
    based applications and curricula.
    EDSF Release 3 consists of 4 parts and published under CC BY Open Source
    license
    Part 1 – Data Science Competence Framework (CF-DS)
    Part 2 – Data Science Body of Knowledge (DS-BoK)
    Part 3 – Data Science Model Curriculum (MC-DS)
    Part 4 – Data Science Professional Profiles (DSPP)
    The new release can referred to as “EDSF Release 3” or “EDSF2018”.
    Recommendation from the design workshop was to create a new
    Part 5 – Use cases and guidelines (including API description)
    This announcement also calls for contribution to the Part 5 documents.
    Additional Call for contribution will issued separately after defining
    template and initial set of use cases, with the first deadline 30 April
    2019.
