    Hi Tovo, all,
as Julia said, it was not clear that one of the group chairs would be able to
attend P14, so we did not submit a proposal for the IG meeting.
For the SCID working group, which is a joint effort with FORCE11, after the
Philadelphia kickoff at P13 this time the meeting will be at FORCE2019 in
Edimbourgh, where we organize a full day hackaton, see:
    https://force2019.sched.com/event/U2pI/research-software-hackathon
    https://force2019.sched.com/event/U2pL/research-software-hackathon
The hackaton will take place on October 15, the week before P14, and
there will be activities on items from the following list:
    – Identifiers for software
    + Granularity of identification
+ Correspondence between different identifier schemas
+ Hacking the software citation graph
    + Exploring synergies
    – Metadata interoperability
    + Metadata mapping (CodeMeta)
    + Connections with WikiData
    – Data quality
    + Guidelines and checklists
    + Moderation process
    + Supporting reproducibility
    – Policies and incentives
    + Institutions
    + Evaluation committees
    + National research bodies
    + Learned societies
    + Publishers
We do hope to see many of the interested people there, and look forward to a
    productive day of work
    All the best

    Roberto

Thanks for the explanation – sorry not to be able to join the Hackathon (I
am at another meeting that week). Looks like a great agenda – I look
forward to hearing how it went!
