Dear all,
We would like to share with you an updated version of the Community Participation section to be included in the release no.5 scheduled for this Friday 22 May 2020:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1i6RDG8L9g3ljohFMwP5WG9qGqFiF5WYoXYB3…
Please note that following the editorial team’s advice we have restructured the section as a cross-cutting theme as it follows:
4.1 Focus and description: Overview of what is meant by community participation
4.2 Scope: Outline what is meant by communities and the 2 use cases
4.3 Policy recommendations: higher-level recommendations for policy makers, funders
4.4. Guidelines for researchers and practitioners: best practices from the communities
Examples for the Recommendations & Guidelines come from either the app development use case or the one of the participatory disaster response strategies, to be supplemented based on the use case documents.
Please note that this is work in progress and we welcome your feedback and contributions.
We hope to have a close to final version by tomorrow 15:00 UTC for the last edits and delivery before tomorrow evening’s deadline.
We thank you again for your collaboration on this.
Kindest regards & best wishes,
Timea
