    Dear all
We are writing to you to ask you to keep May 22nd 14-15 UTC/16-17 CEST/15-16 BST/10-11 EDT free to take part in a call to review materials for training Data Stewards.
As a background to this, in collaboration with FAIRsFAIR, the CODATA-RDA schools developed a set of materials for Data Stewards who have recently started the role. The materials developed are not focussed on any specific domain and range from introductory material (e.g. what is FAIR data, Open and Responsible Research, pedagogical techniques to improve your training) to more advanced topics such as linked data.
    We wish to
    a) get feedback on the materials to improve them,
    b) identify gaps in the materials with a longer term goal of creating a coherent and core set of materials that can be used in general.
In this first meeting we will focus on (a) and consider the necessary steps for (b), i.e. setting priorities and identifying support. In early May we will send out a link to the materials and ask you to do around an hour of pre-reading and providing feedback prior to the meeting.
If you are interested in taking part please complete the following form.
We would be delighted if you could take part. If you have any questions please let us know
    Hugh, Louise and Patricia
