    Dear All,
First or all, welcome to all the new members who have signed up to the working group during or since Plenary 18.
Thank you to everyone who attended the National PID Strategies Working Group meeting at the plenary. The session details are on the meeting page and the collaborative notes (including links to the slides) for both sessions are available. Until they are made public, the recordings are currently only available on the Whova platform – first session and repeat session (you’ll need to login to access the recordings). According to the RDA website, session recordings are available on the platform, for all registrants, till 9 December.
Daniel Bangert (National Open Research Coordinator, Digital Repository of Ireland, Royal Irish Academy, Dublin, Ireland) and Shawna Sadler (Manager, Outreach & Partnerships ORCID
Calgary, Canada) have kindly volunteered to be co-chairs with Natasha Simons and me. The four of us will be meeting soon to finalise a schedule for the WG, including timings for WG meetings (run in two different time zones). We will confirm the dates as soon as possible as we’ll commence activities from January 2022.
The RDA Secretariat has confirmed that we can start the work of the working group even though we’re officially not yet endorsed. The Technical Advisory Board (TAB) has accepted our revised Case Statement and you can access the TAB review here. The Case Statement is now with the RDA Council for their review and that’s the final step in the endorsement process.
If you have any questions please let me and the other co-chairs know.
    Regards,
    Christopher

    Dear All,
As an update to my earlier message, I can confirm that Council has now endorsed the National PID Strategies WG. We are now officially “Recognised & Endorsed” and the Group Status has been updated on the WG page – https://www.rd-alliance.org/groups/national-pid-strategies-wg.
The “end date” for the group has been set to 10 June 2023 and it’s expected that we present our final Recommendation by then.
    Regards,
    Christopher
