    Dear all,
Thanks everyone for your engagement with the call today.
The brief notes are at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ppudp1raRFAEHO6YxJP9JHk0JJsw5Bi19RPV
We agreed that we will prepare an IG charter that addresses requirements 4 and 1. Christoph agreed to do a first draft of this.
In the charter we need to show that it remains important to engage with research communities on issues around the legal interoperability and licensing of data (1). We should also list non-binding suggestions of possible Working Groups which would be spun off (4). In the first instance, these could be a) an examination of researcher concerns in terms of attribution and the pros and cons of alternative licences like CC-BY and CC-BY-NC…; and b) the issues around licensing and attribution of complex digital research objects.
Christoph agreed to share work on this in the Google drive and share it in advance of our call at 15:00 UTC next Friday (15 February).
The Google Drive for the Legal Interoperability Group is at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1DCCKRXRF8yRzVkRkVJd1QyOWc
For anyone who wants access to this so that you can add it to your own drive etc, please send to Asha and myself the address you use for Google drive and one or other of us will invite you.
    With very best wishes,
    Simon.
