Meeting title:

First formal meeting

A short introduction describing the activities and the scope of the group:

The long-running Provenance IG has worked towards establishing a Provenance Patterns WG to address a particular set of challenges outlined in the WG's case statement.

The PP WG hasn't been given clear approval from TAB at the time of this session's proposal but such approval is expected as IG members move to address remaining TAB points in June and July.

This meeting is to be the first meeting of the PP WG in which we will conduct the first assessment of the WG's progress to date. This meeting is likely to fall within the first few months of the WG's life which is a good time to review the group's setup in order to make any adjustments for the remaining majority of the group's life.
