Milena Tsvetkova

Milena Tsvetkova is an associate professor at Sofia University, Bulgaria. She holds a PhD degree in Sociology. Her research interests include media studies, reading studies, and book science. She is a scientist whose books include „Reading – an Anti-manipulating Filter” (2000), „Information Culture: The Name of Reading” (2009), „Reading as Communication Echo” (2017), „The Book as Medium” (2012), „Book Science” (2018). Tsvetkova also has served as editorial board member of „Russian Journal of Sociology“ (Russia), „BBIA online: The Journal of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association”, „Newmedia21” (Sofia University, Bulgaria), „Media and social communications” (University of National and World Economy, Bulgaria).
