David Moroni manages and provides technical support for data in the NASA Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC) at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, conducting and facilitating research on characterizing data uncertainty using geospatial derivative techniques, developing/testing Earth science data-centric software and technologies, utilizing and deploying data/metadata and software interoperability standards, and implementing and developing best practices in data stewardship. Mr. Moroni has been working for the PO.DAAC/JPL since 2008 and currently serves as chair and co-chair (respectively) of the NASA Earth Science Data Systems Working Groups (ESDSWG) Data Quality Working Group (DQWG; 2014-present) and ESIP IQC (2015-present).
