Nasim Mahmud

Dr. Nasim Mahmud is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Insight Centre for Data Analytics, School of Computer Science, University College Dublin (UCD), and Guest Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Ireland. Nasim works with Learnovate Centre, School of Computer Science and Statistics, Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Ireland through his position as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, UCD. He also holds the position of HCI Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). Nasim has 10 years research experience. His research broadly fits in the area of machine learning, human-computer interaction and social computing (collective intelligence). Nasim is an adjunct fellow of Dynamics Lab in UCD Geary Institute, University College Dublin. He has experience of working in a number of European Union (EU) research projects for local developments, and he has worked as a Postdoctoral researcher in the Human--Computer Interaction Lab in the Expertise Center for Digital Media (EDM), Hasselt University, Belgium. He has received his PhD in Computer Science for his work focused on Social Computing from Hasselt Univerisy -- Belgium and Maastricht University -- the Netherlads while he was working in the same lab.
