Ekpe Okorafor

Dr. Ekpe Okorafor is a visiting Professor in Computer Science at the African University of Science & Technology (AUST) Abuja. He is also a Big Data/Analytics Subject Matter Expert in Accenture Digital. In this role, he provides thought leadership and guidance to clients, solution architects and technical managers of leading Big Data platforms and startups on their data and analytics strategy. Dr. Okorafor completed his Ph.D at Texas A&M University. His research interests lie in the area of Big Data & Analytics, with a focus on massive scale scientific computing and computational analytics leveraging Big Data platforms. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of computer science, physical and biological sciences particularly high performance parallel programming, modeling and simulation.
