I completed a B.S. in Chemistry at Harvey Mudd College, a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at Cornell University, and a post-doctoral appointment at UC Berkeley. After a 3.5-year appointment as a Chemistry Instructor and Director of the Welch Summer Scholar Program at Texas Tech, I joined the American Chemical Society, where I have worked as a Managing Editor, Acquisitions Editor, and Senior Acquisitions Editor within Editorial Development. I am currently responsible for the strategic development and management of a portfolio of thirteen journals in the fields of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, materials science, physical chemistry, and engineering.
