I'm an anthropologist. My main field is medical anthropology. I'm a permanent Research Scientist with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) at the Cermes3 in Paris. My current research is dedicated to the anthropology of genomics and clinical genetics. My main fieldwork site is located in the Arabian Peninsula (Sultanate of Oman, United Arab Emirates), where I study the social stakes of the development of genetics and genomics within research and public health. The second is in France, where I conduct a collective ethnography of onco-genomic platforms.
