Dipl. Geol. Chris Schubert, Director of CCCA Data Centre in Vienna, has more than 10 years professional experiences for data infrastructure and interoperability. In 2004 he started for a software company, specialised for geo-data application development. He was responsible for research projects, such as for web based Information and Semantic Interoperability. Between 2009 and 2012 he worked at the BGR - Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources. Especially for Semantic Data and Dictionaries of geological data in Europe. He performed as scientific consultant for German Geological Surveys, as Member of the German INSPIRE Experts, at CGI Interoperability Working Group, etc. Beginning of 2012 he got a post doc position at the European Commission, JRC Ispra in Italy. With his strong In-depth knowledge about the architecture of INSPIRE, depth experiences in the field of semantic mapping, transformation and web based services, he started in February 2015 at the CCCA Data Centre and is responsible for setting up the Data Infrastructure and Services.
