Sophie David has been a tenured researcher (linguistics) at the CNRS since 1997. Her research focused on lexical semantics and on Natural Language Processing. In January 2011, she joined the TGE Adonis, now Huma-Num, where she was the head of the international department. She has been involved in different European projects and particularly in DARIAH, the Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (www.dariah.eu). In 2015, she has joined IPANEMA, the Ancient Materials Research Platform).
