Chantel Davies

Currently I am studying for an MSc Health Data Science with the University of Aberdeen, UK, with particular interests in machine learning, data engineering, data sovereignty, governance and ethics. I am particularly interested in community approaches to ethical use and management of data. As a founder and co-Director of a social enterprise, EqualiTree CIC, I deliver practical training in horticulture, developing community food growing projects and leading applied research projects in agroecological systems. This area of my work provides a connection to nature and opportunity to engage in local food production to improve health and wellbeing.
