Michiel De Clerck

As project assistant, I share some of the responsibilities for technical support and further expansion of the services my department offers our partners. I collaborate with current and future partners to help them improve their operations with the aid of the technical services LIBIS offers. Together we discuss their needs and requirements, which I then review internally with our technical staff to come to an optimal solution. I explore and study new evolutions in information solutions for library, research and heritage institutions in case we need to review alternatives or additions to the support LIBIS already provides. I mainly work in projects that aim to improve support for researchers both internally at KU Leuven and on a European level.
