I started my academic career within the field of biology and went on studying and doing a PhD on the evolution of animal behaviours. But having always been inclined towards open knowledge initiatives, my interest in Open Science was sparked when I discovered the subject during an Open Access Week event during my second year of PhD at Bangor University (Wales, UK). I immediately connected with the importance of making research open and transparent. Consequently, I am now the Open Science librarian at the University of Luxembourg. My role is to promote Open Science practices within the institution, from Open Access compliance to help with Data Management Plans.
