Houcemeddine Turki

Houcemeddine Turki is a Medical Student at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sfax, Tunisia and a researcher in Data Engineering and Semantics Research Team, University of Sfax, Tunisia. He holds a Pre-Medical Degree from University of Sfax in 2018. As a long-term Wikimedian, he is mainly active in works trying to enhance the coverage as well as the reference and language support of Wikimedia projects, particularly Wikidata. He is currently the vice-chair of Wikimedia TN User Group, a group representing Open Science and Wikimedia Community in Tunisia as well as a board member of WikiIndaba Steering Committee and of Wikimedia and Libraries User Group. As a researcher, he is published in highly referred journals such as Scientometrics and Journal of Biomedical Informatics and his main fields of interest are Open Knowledge, Scientometrics, Biomedical Informatics and Data Science.
