I started with archaeology (B.A), then became a librarian (Dip. L.I.S.), then worked for the European Commission in Brussels for 13 years. One lifelong interest has been family history research, and I completed a M.L.I.S in 2013 in order to upgrade my research skills. I have a website and am interested in all developments related to sharing data and research results, and generally breaking down the institutional silos that exist. I am involved in a community history project in Dublin.
