I studied physics at the HHU Düsseldorf and UCD Dublin and received my PhD in the graduate in the field of biophysics and microscopy. Afterwards, I was responsible for the engineering sciences as a consultant at the German Rectors' Conference and supervised the areas of innovative university teaching and digitization. Since 2 years I am reponsible for research data management at the university Library Diusburg-Essen and leading the group "Reseach Data Servcies".
