Alessandro Costantini

Graduated in Chemistry in 2005, he holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2009 and a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2013. Currently he is working as a Researcher in Technology (Tecnologo) at the Italian Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN). Since 2007, he aquired experience working within national and international initiatives dealing with distributed and parallel computing. During the EU-funded EGEE project series and EGI-InSPIRE project he worked for the Italian Grid Infrastructure fulfilling the deputy manager role in User Support activities becoming an expert in the application porting to different distributed computing platforms such as distributed computing GRIDs, HPC systems and low power architectures. Since 2014 he is working in the Distributed Systems group at the INFN National Centre for research in ICT technologies (CNAF) where he enriched his expertise becaming a Cloud technologies expert and operating for different national and european projects aimed at developing open source cloud-oriented solutions and services.
