I am Head of IT in the Gurdon Institute, part of the School of Biological Sciences in the University of Cambridge. We're a very data-intensive institution, and I'm becoming increasingly concerned by the sustainability of current methods and policies for research data management, and increasingly interested in a national infrastructure and approach.
