Currently a staff member Research Data Management (RDM) at Hasselt University, I support researchers with data management planning (DMP), RDM and more. Until recently, I have been active as a reference librarian (STEM) at KU Leuven. A paleoceanographer by training, I have used the occurences and geochemistry of Foraminifera to document ecosystem and environmental changes in the Eocene North Atlantic. I was involved in projects on Cenozoic climate variability on (sub)orbital time scales, using large and diverse datasets - an introduction to RDM.
