Christine L. Borgman,is the author of more than 200 publications in information studies, computer science, and communication, including two award-winning books from MIT Press and a third forthcoming in 2014: Big Data, Little Data, No Data: Scholarship in the Networked World. In 2012-13 she was the Oliver Smithies Visiting Fellow and Lecturer at Balliol College, University of Oxford, and a Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute and the Oxford eResearch Centre. She conducts data practices research with funding from the NSF, Sloan Foundation, and Microsoft Research. She is Co-Chair of the CODATA-ICSTI Task Group on Data Citation, on the Board of Directors of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, and a Fellow of the AAAS.
