Miriam is the Open Science Coordinator for EPFL's School of Engineering, bringing extensive experience in project management, policy design and implementation, and consulting within international and knowledge-intensive contexts. With the aim to advance open science as an everyday scientific practice, she works as a project manager, consultant, advisor, and change agent. She is coordinating electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) testing activities for the school with the aim of providing reliable ELN service that can cater to the heterogeneous needs of the school research community. She also successfully finalised the pilot project of DMPonline as a one-stop shop solution for research data management planning at EPFL. Miriam has previously led successful initiatives to establish systematic, coordinated, and governed approaches to research data management in the management and economics field. Her accomplishments include leading a data repository implementation project for the Erasmus Research Institute of Management, a leading management research institution in Europe, and serving as Data Steward for Rotterdam School of Management and Erasmus School of Economics. She is also an active member of various communities, working groups, and task forces that focus on research data management, and open science.
