Conservation Scientist, PhD in Environmental Sciences, she is research technician at the Institute for the Conservation and Valorization of Cultural Heritage - National Research Council of Italy. She deals with research, study and teaching on issues related to indoor deterioration processes of artworks, especially stone and paintings. Her research activity mainly aims at investigating methodologies and techniques for diagnostics and microclimatic monitoring of Cultural Heritage. She has participated as speaker in 70 national and international conferences on diagnostics, microclimatic monitoring, safeguard, and preventive conservation for cultural heritage. She is author/co-author of 100 publications in books, national and international journals, and proceedings of national and international conferences as well as books editor.
