Mr Sridhar Raman
I am a PhD researcher at the Oxford Brookes University, focussing on sustainable mobility, transportation and modelling. I work in collaboration with the Oxfordshire County Council on various data-sharing projects. My specific research is on modelling the influence of traffic dis-incentivising measures on modal-shift, traffic congestion and commuter decision-making. I have an extensive background in software engineering and have worked in the urban mobility domain in India for more than 10 years. I am also working as a part-time software developer for the Urban Transport Lab at UCL Energy Institute, London - on a smartphone-based travel survey application that incorporates various open APIs to determine mobility patterns of users.
