After a research career in the intersections of health, communication and technology, and experiencing the enormous opportunities and challenges of data-intensive science and digital health, I moved into research data management with a specialisation in health and medical data. In my current role implement policies and standards for data management and curation and co-develop new research data products and services for researchers. As part of this, I actively partner with our professional services, researchers and the wider data community to drive meaningful change in data quality, integrity, governance, sharing and reuse to accelerate data science and advanced analytics for research. I am an advocate for responsible data handling, and enabling trust, transparency and innovation in scientific practice though open, collaborative science and cross-sector engagement. I am particularly interested in artificial intelligence and data ethics in health.
