We hope you will help us spread the word about our joint meeting focusing on Data-related research: skills and education, which will take place on Friday 7th of April 11:00-12:30 Breakout session 8 in room MR12
This is a joint session of:
WG Teaching Text and Data Mining (TDM) on Education and Skill Development, and WG/IG Data Science and data-related education and training certification and accreditation schemes
The key objectives for the Plenary 9 meeting are twofold:
1. To further discuss how to achieve the WG purpose of developing a TDM course, and to obtain community feedback on the research and draft survey prepared so far.
2. To look, more broadly, into the challenges and opportunities for developing certification and accreditation for courses that come under the broader umbrella of data science particularly in the context of inter-disciplinary professional pathways.
