Meeting objectives
Agricultural research data often has various controls, sensitivity, and stakeholders, necessitating technical solutions to establish which parties have access and trust that the data is unadulterated by other parties.
In this session, we want to start exploring relevant use cases and existing and potential approaches to address this problem, with the aim of creating an RDA WG with other interested parties from various regions, and of recruiting more active group members to help us shape and drive the group, should there be interest from the RDA community.

P23 RDA Plenary Meeting San José (12-14, November 2024)

BoF Activities
During RDA VP22, David Molik organised a meetup of Plenary participants interested in Agricultural Data Integrity. This meetup was also raised in the IGAD CoP repeat session at RDA VP22.
Following up from this first meetup and conversations with other interested parties, another meeting was held in late June 2024, and the decision was made to gauge the appetite for a possible joint RDA and AgBioData WG on this topic.
Prior to P23, we will promote the BoF to in a variety of communities, including the the IGAD CoP and the proposed Ethics in Agricultural (Ag) Data IG to inform them about our BoF session, find potential participants and explore synergies.
