The Research Data Alliance invites you to join the 3rd RDA Plenary Meeting, in Dublin, Ireland. The 3rd Plenary concentrates on the theme ‘The Data Sharing Community: Playing YOUR part’.
The program contains a mixture of keynotes, panels, networking, Working and Interest Groups as well as ‘BoF’ sessions on topics ranging from agriculture to particle physics, and from humanities to bioinformatics.

RDA Europe is offering financial support to Early Career European Researchers & Scientists working with Data to attend the plenary meeting. The aim of this programme is to introduce European early career researchers & scientists to RDA, highlight what data scientists / practitioners are doing, leverage on Early Career Researchers & Scientists knowledge to support Plenary 3 activities and support the Working & Interest group activities. The Irish Research Council (IRC) is funding a poster session and reception on the first day of the RDA Third Plenary Meeting - 26th March 2014, during which some of the multi-disciplinary IRC-funded PhD and Post Doc research that demonstrates open access and sharing of publicly funded research data, or uses (exploits) openly accessible publicly funded research data will be showcased.
RDA members are invited to submit applications to organise events co-located with the Plenary meeting. A limited number of meeting rooms are available at the conference venue - Croke Park Conference Centre. Applications will be evaluated based on their relevance to RDA objectives, availability of facilities and according to the timeliness of the applications. The on-line form should be submitted no later than 17th January 2014 @ 17:00CET and applicants will receive notification by 31st January.
The Croke Park Hotel is located on Jones Road, Dublin 3, directly across from the entrance to the Croke Park Conference Centre. Rooms have been block-booked for RDA Plenary 3.
